Buyer Portal

The Buyer Portal is a private, personalized page you send to each buyer so they can view their invoice, make a payment, upload payment proof, and see information about their puppy — all without needing a BreederBuddy account.
What You Can Do Here
- Send buyers a unique link to their own portal page
- Buyers can view their invoice and outstanding balance
- Buyers can pay online by card directly from the portal
- Buyers can upload proof of payment for alternative methods (Venmo, Zelle, check, etc.)
- Buyers can see their reserved or purchased puppy’s details, including an estimated spay/neuter date if you’ve enabled it
- Customize the portal with your kennel’s branding and colors
How It Works
Sending a Buyer Their Portal Link
The Buyer Portal link is automatically generated when you create an invoice for a buyer. You can find and copy the link from:- The buyer’s invoice detail page.
- The contact’s profile.
What Buyers See
When a buyer opens their portal link, they see:- Their invoice with a full breakdown of what’s owed
- A Pay Now button for online card payment
- An option to upload proof of payment if paying by another method
- A section showing the puppy (or dog) they are purchasing, if linked
- An estimated spay/neuter date on the puppy section, if you’ve turned that on in Settings → Preferences
Branding Your Portal
You can set your kennel’s name, logo, and brand color so the Buyer Portal feels like it belongs to your program — not a generic page. Update these in your Settings.Tips & Common Questions

No — the portal link works without any login or account. Anyone with the link can view it.

Buyers can pay by credit or debit card directly on the portal. If they’re paying another way (Venmo, Zelle, cash, check), they can upload a screenshot or photo as proof.

Yes — the link stays active until the invoice is fully paid. You can send it as many times as needed.

Yes — each portal link is unique to that buyer and that invoice. Links are not guessable.

Go to Settings → Preferences and turn on the spay/neuter estimate. Set the recommended age in months — BreederBuddy calculates the date from each puppy’s date of birth and shows it on the buyer portal.
