Document Manager

Document Manager generates the AKC paperwork you need — pre-filled with your dog or litter’s information so you don’t have to type it again. Today it covers AKC Ownership Records and AKC Litter Records, with more document types on the way.
What You Can Do Here
- Generate a pre-filled AKC Ownership Record (JBDOG1) for any dog
- Generate a pre-filled AKC Litter Record for any litter
- Open the form in an interactive editor to nudge fields, add custom text, or fix anything
- Zoom in and out (50% to 200%) for fine adjustments
- Download the finished form as a PDF, ready to print and mail
How It Works
Opening Document Manager
- Go to Document Manager in the left menu (print icon).
- Pick the document you want to generate — AKC Ownership Record or AKC Litter Record.
Filling It In
- Click Generate PDF on the document.
- Choose the dog (for an Ownership Record) or the litter (for a Litter Record).
- The form opens in the editor with your data already filled in:
- Ownership Record: breed, registration number, sire/dam, DOB, sex, color, owner info, microchip, breeding history
- Litter Record: dam/sire info, AKC litter number, all puppies with microchips, new owner info, sex, color, transfer dates
Using the Editor
The editor overlays your data on top of the official AKC PDF, so you can tweak it before downloading:- Click any blue field to edit the value
- Click an empty area to add a custom text field (shown in orange)
- Drag a field by the grip handle (left side, shows on hover) to nudge it into place
- Delete a custom field by hovering and clicking the red X
- Zoom with the controls at the top (50%–200%) for precise edits
Downloading
When the form looks right, click Download. You get a clean PDF (AKC-Ownership-Record.pdf or AKC-Litter-Record.pdf) you can print and mail to the AKC.

Yes — click any field in the editor to change the value, drag it to reposition it, or add a new custom text field anywhere on the page.
What if a field is in the wrong spot on my printed copy?
What if a field is in the wrong spot on my printed copy?
Drag the field in the editor to where you want it before downloading. The PDF will print exactly where you placed it.
Are other documents coming?
Are other documents coming?
Yes — health record summaries, OFA test reports, dog profile sheets, and pedigree charts are on the roadmap.
Can I email the form instead of downloading?
Can I email the form instead of downloading?
Not yet — download as PDF is the only option today. Email is a possibility down the road.
