Email Templates

Email Templates lets you customize the automatic emails BreederBuddy sends on your behalf. When a buyer submits an application, gets added to a waitlist, or makes a payment, BreederBuddy sends them an email — and this is where you make those emails sound like you.
What You Can Do Here
- Customize the content of automated emails for key buyer touchpoints
- Add your own personal message, tone, and branding
- Preview what each email looks like before saving
- Restore to default if you want to start over
How It Works
- Go to Email Templates in the left menu.
- You’ll see a list of template types, grouped by category.
- Click any template to expand and edit it.
- Modify the subject line and body text.
- Use the preview to see how it will look to your buyer.
- Hit Save when you’re happy with it.
Available Templates
- Waitlist Deposit Receipt — sent when a buyer’s deposit payment is confirmed
- Waitlist Added — sent when a buyer is added to your waitlist
- General Payment Confirmation — sent when any invoice payment is received
- Application Submission Confirmation — sent when a buyer submits an application form

Do I have to customize these templates?
No — BreederBuddy provides professional default messages out of the box. Customizing them is optional but recommended if you want them to reflect your program’s voice.

At this time, automated emails for key events (payments, applications) are sent by default. If you have specific questions about a template, reach out via the chat below.
