Attachments

Video walkthrough: Watch on Loom (link coming soon)

Attachments is your central file library — every document, photo, PDF, and file you’ve uploaded to BreederBuddy lives here. While files can also be accessed directly from the dog, litter, or contact they belong to, this page gives you a single searchable view across everything you’ve uploaded.

What You Can Do Here

  • Browse and search all files you’ve ever uploaded to BreederBuddy
  • Filter by file type (images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, video, audio)
  • Filter by what a file is linked to (dogs, litters, contacts, health records, etc.)
  • Sort by upload date, name, file size, or type
  • View your storage usage
  • Upload new files directly from this page

How It Works

Browsing Your Files

  1. Go to Attachments in the left menu.
  2. Your full file library loads, sorted by most recently uploaded.
  3. Use the search bar to find a file by name.
  4. Use the filter dropdowns to narrow by file type or what it’s linked to.
  5. Click any file to view or download it.

Filtering by Type

You can filter to show only:
  • Images — photos and graphics
  • PDFs — documents, health certs, contracts
  • Documents — Word files, text files
  • Sheets — spreadsheets
  • Video / Audio — media files
  • Archives — zip files and similar

Filtering by Linked Record

You can filter to show only files attached to:
  • Specific dogs or litters
  • Contacts
  • Health records
  • Galleries
  • Expenses
  • Signed contracts
  • Or files that aren’t linked to anything yet

Storage Usage

A storage bar at the top of the page shows how much storage you’ve used out of your plan’s total. If you’re running low, consider removing duplicate or outdated files.
